Responsible for all mechanical engineering tasks for aeronautical flight research experiments. Structural modifications to air-frames, designs for equipment installation, with STC ratings with FAA certification.

Engineering direction for Airworthiness Directives compliance for aircraft. Examples include; modification of DC-9 into micro-gravity research aircraft while maintaining STC rating with FAA, in-flight icing research, laminar flow studies, and engine noise abatement.

Directed in-house and outside research organizations in experiment design and execution.

Creation of government R&D contract proposals (DoD, FAA, USAF, NOAA, private industry).
